Chance to Mexico, take it or leave it? |
Travel Info I've been working in garment plant as management staff. Since my company has a branch plant in mexico and they want to make improvement there, they are intending to send me to help in mexico, but the problem is,i have no idea what mexico is, how about the labor attitude? is it the same as what i watch in TV? bring guns or knifes while using sombrero or something? now i am living in asia, can somebody help me? thanks before Travel Tips Mexico is a great and friendly country. As many countries it has its good and bad places to be. Where is your company's plant in Mexico? If I were you I'd take the opportunity, if you don't like it you can always go back, right? Don't worry, people do not bring knifes or guns to work. People do not wear sombreros and costumes every day, if you go to the countryside you will find people in some, mainly agricultural, towns that wear hats and use horses as their main means of transportation. I come from a Mexican city that has a very large population of Japanese immigrants, and I can assure you they feel great there! Also a lot of Japanese exchange students choose this city to live in Mexico for a year or so and learn Spanish. (****I don't mean to imply you are Japanese)) check out the Mexican Tourism Agency's web page http://www.sectur.gob.mx/ Here are some live webcams of Mexico City's Historical Downtown http://www.centrohistorico.com.mx/webcam... |
