Travel Info Name some professions in USA that are not in or less appreciated in Mexico and other less affluent nations.? Travel Tips I was born and raised in the USA, and now live in Mexico. There are many things here that are not in the USA and many things in the USA that are not needed here or that are not here yet. This is a growing frontier with many opportunities, the problem is that is also has many obstacles to overcome in some areas also. There are little to none woman's, children's rights and animal rights are none and somewhere many years away yet. So anything that would be found in those fields you don't have available in a spot, but, that only means that the 'creators of the 1st one' are needed. Also: Not many Retirement Homes here because family takes care of their parents etc. So therefore there are no or very few Senior Citizen management Positions, housing ect positions available. Because family is important here, they are not needed, elderly are taken care of by the children that they have raised. Unless there is no family to do that, Then this is a option. no 24 hour veteranary emergancy rooms, but, a vet that you can call at home if needed. Doctors will still make house calls. There are many opprtunities for the entrepreneur, but make sure you thouroughly investigate what it is you want to do, what is in its place now and is thier a need for your service. There are no bill boards and advertisemnets everywhere saying 'Do Not Smoke!' but a few ads are coming out and Dr.s are saying it. But that means someone in the field of stop smokers from smooking would after convincing his clients have a huge business, Same for alcohol consumption, just getting breathalizers here, and such so I am sure much opportunity in those areas also.
