Using toluca airport to get to mexico city? |
Travel Info Does anyone have advice on how easy or difficult it is to fly into Toluca instead of Benito Juarez International? Tickets for Toluca are about $70 cheaper, but I am not sure if it is worth the hassle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Travel Tips I agree with a lot of the things said above.. but I want to bring a resident view on it.. Pros: a lot faster, less crowded, cheaper ( sometimes ), about 30 mins from n. west mexico city, Santa Fe, Las Lomas.. some the nicest parts in the city.. but far away from touristic places Cons: far from downtown, museums, hotels... not always cheaper, and I dont know how safe Toluca is for tourists and how much a taxi would charge.. but an airport certified taxi is expensive anyways! if youre going to Santa Fe a taxi is +300pesos (+ 28 dls ) .. so you might be saving even more My opinion is, if you have someone that knows Mexico and can pick you up in Toluca.. or youre gong to b stayin in west mexico city.. go for it.. if you dont and you are really going to be hanging out in the tourism district.. I say stick with MEX |
