What does PRINCIPE mean? |
Travel Info I am studying spanish, what does PRINCIPE mean? anyone know? Travel Tips there has been a historical figure with that nickname...some British prince that was called that, I just can't remember who... anyway, El Principe Azul is a fairy-tale figure; he comes riding on his white stallion to rescue the imprisoned/dragon-breath-swath... princess from her ivory tower and carries her off to the sunset...(or was that John Wayne?) This time and age, the principe azul for some third-world women seems to be a loaded gringo/european who'll after much travail finally comes through with the spousal visa and transports her to a Des Moines or Daytona Beach suburb to watch American soaps all day long while the prince is working his shining butt-armor off for her (high) maintenance. Sometimes, these tales have a happy ending. That's what keeps us going. Cheers, Desi (no living person, either here or in real life needs to feel implicated by the nationality of location references, which are totally random) Source(s): http://www.poorbuthappy.com/colombia/nod...
