Are museum open in Mexico City?

My friends tell me that due to the political uprising in Mexico City Museums are closed. Is it true? Which ones are important?

and the best one to go see iis the main one. gosh i can't remember the name. but its the one with the sun stone in it. its the major one-something like-mexcio's museum of modern art..i don't recall what its called but its the one with the sun stone
