How long does it take to drive from san francisco to mexico city?

I drove from Mexico to San Fco (and to Sacramento Cal) two times by now. Driving at normal speed limit and resting 8 hrs daily, it took me 5 days, but driving in a hurry and resting from time to time sleeping occasionally when tired, it took me exactly 36 hours. The best route and the least expensive in tool way fees (total of $40.00 usd) is: Mexico City, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, El Huizache, Cd. Victoria, San Fernando, Valle Hermoso, Cross to USA by The Free Trade Bridge (You save several hours), then I took the 83, later the 77 all the way up to take freeway 10 toward West in San Antonio, later I took the hwy 5 up to reach San Fco and Sacramento Cal.
