The city's air is contaminated by pollution, not to mention that it is one of the biggest cities in the world. I know when I go to Mexico City I have the hardest time breathing. Also it is true that the city is sinking because it sits on what use to be a dried lake. Mexico City has had alot of earthquakes in the past, the 1985 was the deadliest one, I can remember it clearly.
