Do I need a passport to go to TJ Mexico!? |
Travel Info I'M GOING TO SAN DIEGO IN JUNE AND WANT TO STOP IN TJ TO GET RIPT.. ANY TIPS? Travel Tips Until the end of 2007, you don't need a passport to get back to the USA unless you're flying. If you're driving or walking by foot (at the border), then an ID and birth certificate will do; remember, you're still crossing international borders so don't take it with a grain of salt. Since you eventually have to get a passport, might as well get one soon... TJ is fun (and crazy, and dangerous) but as any cautious person would do, just stay away from the dark alleys, secluded areas, isolated streets and whatever you do, don't go to see the free "Donkey show"!
