Travel Info what is the similar between america and mexico food? Travel Tips There is almost no similarity between the two. The only similarity is that both use beef and chicken but the dishes are prepared differently. The vegetables are prepared differently, the deserts are different (except for ice cream, but Mexican ice cream is not as rich) and the non-alcholic drinks are also different. Even real Mexican food and Tex-Mex are different. Even the food within different parts of Mexico is different. Tacos in Guadalajara are not the same as tacos in Puebla.
