Travel Tips
There is a place in Mexico city called La Zona Rosa or the Pink Zone and it is packed with places that have really good live music, oldies in the style of Agustin Lara and Pedro Vargas or more contemporary artists like Mijares, but still very romantic without being mariachi, you could also try trios, to me that鈥檚 VERY romantic, a very famous one is Trio Los Panchos, you could always download some songs and that way you鈥檒l have an idea what you want to ask for when you get there.
This website is pretty cool
