Going to Mexico City. What to do?

The wife and i are going to Mexico City for a week and have a number of things on our itenerary. What's something that we just shouldn't miss?

There are so many things to do in Mexico City (not beaches, though). Ok, I really recommend the Turibus, it will take you to the Centro Hist贸rico, it stops at different sites and you can get on and off wherever you like. I have taken it twice, and I was born here!!
It is really a great option.
Go to Secretaria de Turismo (you will see many booths in centro Hist贸rico) and get a map of the area, there are many things to do there, Bellas Artes, Museums, Traditional Restaurants.
That way you wont have to pay for taxis or find a parking space. Finish at La Condesa (this is an area) and have dinner in any of the super fine restaurants there, then you can go to a lounge. This area at night is very safe (as long as you don麓t fall asleep on the street).
Visit Castillo de Chapultepec and the zoo.
Go see the Teohtihuac谩n pyramids, go early and not on a weekend.
Visit Polanco and the caf茅s. Many and very very pretty.
You have to see the Museo Nacional de Antropolog铆a e Historia, incredible collection and then go to the Museo Contempor谩neo right on the same block.
Ok, be safe, don麓t wear jewelry, carry your wallet in the front pocket and only get into taxis from taxi stations (don麓t stop one on the street). Source(s): Im from here!
