So the "best place" for you to visit in Mexico will be influenced by your travel budget and your preferences for activities, sights, etc. MC would be a good place to begin, but there are other places in Mexico worth seeing as well. If you like "Florida transplanted" south of the border, then go to Cancun. For a little more atmosphere in a beach resort area, try the west coast - Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco are examples of older resort areas.
