How long if we drive from Houston Waht are the dangers in Miami Florida Travel Tips it's about 2-3 days drive from Houston, the danger is that it's a very violent city. do not go around at night on the streets, find somewhere to be and stay inside. don't go on any walks by yourself......see the seaquarium, the parrot jungle, the beaches, the everglades, Others Fly: 4+- hours. Drive: 3 days unless you drive like hell. Dangers: The main dangers are sunburn & high prices. Miami is no more dangerous than Houston. Keep to well populated tourist areas & you'll have no worries. My parents came to Miami for their honeymoon & moved here; & I'm still here (I hate to tell you how many years later). hi monica, miami is a beautiful place, been there before, shall be there again in a few weeks. definitely recommend a visit/stay at south beach - its a real fun place. looks like travelocity.com has some pretty good prices to MIA, maybe check it out. if you are going to be at a south beach hotel, maybe just take a shuttle from the airport and back, that way you don't have to rent a car. some hotels will have free shuttle service too. like someone pointed out, miami is a big city just like houston, the same rules of safety holds. have fun! |
