Travel Info Is Cutler Ridge a safe place to live in Miami? Travel Tips cutler ridge.. depending on what part you choose can be either safe or at times a little scary. look into Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay. it's a little more expensive, but if you can afford it, it's worth it. it's very safe they have nice schools and parks etc, overall it's a nicer community than cutler ridge. also, these areas are pretty far from the "center" of miami [miami beach, downtown etc] your going to have to commute a little if you want to get to the popular areas.. but it's not bad and it's alot quieter. Source(s): i live in the area =) Other Travel Tips Yes, of course it is. It's just very south of where the action is, meaning Downtown Miami and Hialeah and Kendall. However, if you are going to move to Miami, please don't. Miami is already too overcrowded. Why would anyone want to live in Miami? Great to visit but rude place to live.. Drive downtown away from the tourist traps its not very clean. Try Broward county It's not too bad, but there are safer areas not too far north of Cutler Ridge. You may enjoy Kendall, the crime rate is lower and easily accessible to the Turnpike, Palmetto Expressway and the Metrorail. Don't move to cutler ridge! Its getting overcrowded the best place I think to move in Florida is Broward county and upwards. Times have changed.... The ridge (cutler ridge) has changed. What I would do is take a drive to the area on where you want to move to, but you have to go when school is over. Then you get to see what kind of children live in the neighborhood your going to raise your kids in. Just a thought! |
