Travel Tips Miami has one of the the lowest median household incomes in America, while having one of the highest median house prices. Expect a lot of poverty existing side by side with wealth. And traffic, lots of traffic. Miami was a great place to visit, there is Coconut grove, a place with exclusive bars and partying all night, cruise ships, beaches, shopping. But to get there, you have to crawl through traffic in the slums. It has the good and the bad, like any place. Only it has it to the extremes.
