Travel Info Where do I buy clothes for a vacation to Florida in the middle of winter? Travel Tips Save your money and buy everything there. Clothing is really cheap in Florida. Others I've seen summer clothes year round in all stores Any large department store...they'll have a "cruise" dept. once you get to the beach areas there are many spots to buy swimwear. Wings is a popular spot if you are near Miami , they are everywhere the tourist are. You can go online or wait to buy them when you are in Florida I hope you go to the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area. Beaches are beautiful, people are generally friendly, and you can buy beachwear in many shops there. Or if you're going down the Keys, say to Key Largo or Key West, you'll have a blast checking out the small shops down that way. You will definitely find whatever you need at cheap prices. If you haven't made a decision on where to go there, I would suggest you stay on the Atlantic Ocean side (west coast) since the water is much bluer and Aqua & the sandy beaches are so white you better wear some sunshades. January is a perfect time to go--not hot, not cold, just right! If you are going to Miami beach, you will definitely go to South Beach-Ocean Drive. Thats where all the tourists go. You will find a lot of stores on Collins Ave selling beach stuff. Collins in a lifeline of Miami beach and you will get everything on that street. January is beautiful, not humid and clear blue skies. Right now our temp is around 70. I know you will have a great time...since I have never heard anyone ever say "their vacation to Miami sucked" |
