forget the basic vaction spots..do something interesting!...Go to Alaska, or Africa and go on jungle tours..

experince extreme weather..like here..Winnipeg, where it is -30 right now...(bring extra socks :-p )
Our family prefers the panhandle areas. Panama City, Ft. Walton, Pensacola all have beautiful white sandy beaches. It is less crowded than the Disney type stuff.
