Travel Info How far are the Keys from Miami and what tours are available? Travel Tips Depends upon where in Miami. Key Largo is about an hour and a half south by Turnpike from downtown. Key West is about 2 hrs. south of Key Largo - if the traffic is okay. However, racing to key West via Turnpike & the road thru the Keys is to miss much of what makes things interesting. Better to take US-1 South & then sightsee thru the Keys. Others About three hrs. Tours cater to all age groups, out of the Keys. Alot of them are trolleys, just drive you around. Most cruise ship guests, take this one. Only have a few hrs in port. I walk when I go there, better, not the usual tourist thing. |
