Contact a Miami Private Investigator & pay the freight unless you have the time & $$ to come down & sit in the Court Clerk's office until you figure out the records system & how to search it. There were no computers of course and there were multiple levels of municipal, justice of the peace & county criminal courts in those days. If someone was convicted of a felony, tehre would be state records. It may be your best bet would be a search of the Miami Herald, Miami Daily News, or Miami Beach Sun files. Only the Herald still survives but I think they have the films of the others. That's probably where a P.I. would start.
