Travel Tips
You are doing an international transfer in Miami and you should not have to go through customs in the States. But, I travel regularly through Miami inbound on international flights and I can only say I hope you don't have to. Miami's airport is the worst, the walk from you gate to customs/immigration is a long one and has caused me to miss more than one connecting flight in my travels...Good Luck!

actually if you are not going to visit miami at all...I mean...go to the beaches....or enjoy a Heat game...... you can pretty much stay inside the airport.....

there is like a waiting room, if you want to called that way, before abording the airplane..... after you go trhough customs...... soo....if you do not leave this room....which in miami is like a mall..... u r pretty much ok......

watch out...they have dogs on this rooms....if you know what I mean!
If you just changing planes in Miami, then no, not unless you leave the internationl flight area. Please, keep in mind that canada and us are not the same country
