Travel Info when is the best time of the year to visit Miami and what are the best beaches? Travel Tips December to Augus because after (mid August to October)there is big problem with hurricane Others any time but not summer Right before the summer when no one is really there and its not super hot anddd Turks and Cacos (i think thats how you spell it) is an awsome beach. White sand, clear water. Its great! And its a new place so not many people are there. you need to go after refugee season ends...hurricane season is best because the rafters dont travel that time of year. I live in Miami - South Beach. High season is in winter - there are a lot of tourists so if you like to go to Miami with a lot of people, milder, but still warm weather - winter is great. If you don't mind a bit of heat, you can save money by going in off-season which is summer. Beaches vary - family oriented beaches can be found above 17th-ish street in Miami Beach all the way up to Haulover beach - which is nude. Around 85th street is nice - they have a BBQ set up for public use. South Beach is the trendiest beach - at the south point of Miami Beach. 11th street is gay, the rest is mixed and because of the many Europeans on vacation here topless sunbathing is accepted. Make sure to check out Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road, as well as a night out at the Rose Bar/Poolside Bar at the Delano Hotel on Friday. You might want to try Ft.
