Everglades Swamp Ape?

Has anyone ever heard of the swamp ape that lives in the Everglades in South Florida? Is this another tall tale like the Loch Ness Monster and Yeti? Or is it real?

I've heard of it. It is sort of like bogfoot. The only problem with it is that its been around since the 50s so the chance of it staying alive that long are unlikely. But it makes more sense than either loch ness or a yeti
