How do I get from Oleta River State Park to Calle Ocho? |
Travel Info Oleta River State Park is located at 2500 NE 163rd Street (Highway 826, Sunny Isles Blvd.) in Miami and Calle Ocho is 8th Street in Miami. Or if talking about hiking or canoeing maybe state park website or place should have info Others Look it up on Yahoo maps! :o) The long way: Drive south on Biscayne Blvd (US-1) about 10-11 miles thru downtown to SE 7th St. Turn right & head to whatever avenue you want. (8th St. is one way eastbound). The fast way: Take I-95 to SW 7th st exit. If you are going to "Calle Ocho" street festival tomorrow, SW 7th may be blocked off & parking anywhere close is impossible. The trick here is to know that both Metro-rail and Metro-mover stop at Brickell which is just a couple of blocks away from the East end of the festival. Park at a lot convenient to one of their stops & take the train. You can even drive out to Hialeah Metro-rail station & park there; or park at one of the downtown lots & take the Metro-Mover. Either way, go early. I'll be the Anglo wearing the Yahoo answers cap. |
