I am looking to move to Miami, any reasonably priced apts. anybody can recommend? |
Travel Info I really don't want to spend a fortune for rent, but don't want a dumpy place either? Any input would be appreciated!! Travel Tips I would recommend not moving to Florida, at all. We have a housing crisis- there is no affordable housing whatsoever. I just moved into a house with my man for almost $1400 a month (a tiny, 30 yr old house) after our landlords jacked up the rent to pay for rising insurance and property taxes. Apt. complexes are being greedy and turning into condos forcing residents out. Take a look at Sunsentinel.com for some research. Source(s): Lifelong SoFlo resident Other Travel Tips What is your definition of reasonable? You could probably find a one room dump in a slum for $300 a month. In Miami there is nothing affordable, the house prices nowadays are terrible and barly no one can afford anything. I dont know whats going on here but if they dont do something soon everyone is going to move up north. You could probrally rent a house by the homestead area, thats the most cheapest there probrally is, but the neighboorhoods arent so good, so my best advice to you is to really do some research and see weather living in Miami is something you can afford. |
