What is the smallest island in keys...? |
Travel Info quiet..secluded...plus how many islands r their? which one did you enjoy the most...maybe with bunglows on beach? Travel Tips I think Little Palm Island is what you are looking for. Its a secluded small island off of Little Torch Key. Its 3 miles offshore and you can only get to it by boat. You can take the ferry from Little Torch Key to get there. You stay in elevated thatched roof bungalows - like the south pacific- right on the beach. Its paradise. No children under 16 allowed. There is an excellent restaurant there as well, extremely romantic. Go thier website for details and photos: www.littlepalmisland.com There are so many islands in the keys - too many to name! But in general, Key Largo is the first- great if you want to be close to Miami and want the best snorkeling and diving. Islamorada is known for great fishing, but the fishing is great throughout all the keys. The middle keys also are great for families. Key West is more built up and lively if you want less seclusion and more of a party scene. Many of the resorts have "bungalows" on the beach. |
