Travel Info What's it like to live in Key West? Travel Tips Small town with a lot of transients/tourists, hot humid and watch out for hurricane season from May to October. Groceries cost a little more than on mainland, rents are high. Others I have a friend that lived there and worked for a municipality. He said you get "cabin fever" its only a 2 mile by 4 mile island and a long drive to the mainland. He lasted 6 years before he had to head back up north. haha |
