Miami: What is the most fun thing to do there? What are some fun things to do that tourists dont know about? |
Travel Info I am considering planning our honeymoon for 5 days in Miami, Monday through Saturday in July. I was also wondering if there was a cheap and easy-to-use shuttle out onto the Florida Keys for those interested in making a day of that area. Right now I am looking at staying at The President, which is relatively cheap and has gotten good reviews. Any input anyone could give me on this plan would be appreciated. Travel Tips Try snorkeling. I've heard that it's a must in Miami simply because Florida is the only area in the continental US that you can see a coral reef. Not to mention the water is clear. For an expensive and fun meal, try the hotel Setai's restaurant. I've heard extremely good things about it. Oh! Take a walk on South Beach at night. Romantic and the water's still warm! As for the day trip to the Keys? Try renting a car. I'd be the cheapest way out there. And it's not really a day trip, but a two day trip to make it worthwhile, since it's acutally farther from Miami than you'd think and Key West (most popular) is something you just have to experience.
