Looking for inexpensive way to University of Miami?

Does anyone know an inexpensive way to get there by plane? I'd like to be close to campus as possible (within walking distance). Any suggestions?

Miami Int. Airport (MIA) has a shuttle bus that will take you to the nearest Metro-rail station. fare $1.25. Take Metro rail south to the University of Miami Stop. Go downstairs, walk about one block north to Merrick Dr., turn left & walk two short blocks to the Student Union & ask directions to whatever building you want to get to.

Get a cheap hotel just off campus.
