Where is the best place to stay in Miami if you want a beachfront hotel that is close to the nightlife? |
Travel Info I'm looking for a great hotel to stay at that isn't too expensive, that is right on the beach and in walking distance of the nightlife. Travel Tips The tudor in South Beach is not right on the beach, but it's right behind the Versace Mansion and a 2 minutes walk to the beach and Ocean drive. =) www.hoteltudor.com Others Try the Edison on South Beach, virtually on the Drive right by the Clevelander. Great hotel, very retro and reasonable. I personally like the South Beach Plaza Hotel it's on 14th and Collins.. Thats a nice place close to everything (not to mention the bartender is a 10) my friends and i are also traveling to south beach pretty soon and we are staying in the best western which is cheap costing around $100 dollars a night and it is on Washington ave where the really good clubs are. The "center" of nitelife is Lincoln Rd on the north & east of Washington Ave. Lincoln Rd is between 16th & 17th Streets. Most of the "oceanfront" hotels there are in fact across the street from the Beach. If you want to actually walk out your door onto the beach, you'll have to go north of 15th on Ocean or Collins but those are some of the most expensive hotels on the beach. There's a couple of very small hotels between 5th & 3d Sts that might work. Or you can go North of 23d St on Collins & a bit out of the center. any where in the beach is where the night life is.
