Travel Info I am going on vacation to Ft. Lauderdale, Flordia in August. How is the weather? Is it too hot? Travel Tips Only you know if it's TOO hot. But objectively, it is hot - and humid. Fortunately everything is air conditioned. Others M'kay, so, you might wanna pack some shorts. I've taken several trips down there, and it gets pretty hot. So, yeah. I'd advise packing light clothes. It gets really hot there even in the spring. Me, Myself, And I we are having a very hot humid summer and a terrible drought. We don't know when this weather is going to change but its not very good. Well, I have family that lives in Ft. Lauderdale and I've been there during the summer, I don't remember what month exactly, but it was probably close to August. Anyway, it definately going to be HOT!! It's really hot and humid in south Florida. Also, it rains a lot. So if you go to the beach, bring an umbrella! When I was there we went to the beach and it started raining really heavyily and we left the beach and went into a store and by the time we came back out the rain had stopped. So be prepared for it to rain on and off constantly throughout the day. It's a great place to visit despide the somewhat unpredictable weather/rain. I loved it and really didn't want to go home! Yes. It's really hot, but it won't kill u. i have a condo down in ft. lauderale, and august is quite the warm month. it's not too hot like in june or july but its still pretty warm so make sure you wear light clothing, and bring sunscreen! and have fun =] |
