Romantic Miami Restaurants? |
Travel Info My husband and I are spending a week in Miami for our anniversary. I have never been there before, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me a really wonderful, romantic restaurant that we could go to for our anniversary dinner. I am not too worried about price, however I do not really want to spend $500 on dinner either. Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated. :-) Travel Tips Oh lucky you!! I love Miami. Go to South Beach, on Lincoln road. There are tons of little restaurants on a terrace. Or try some Italian restaurants on Ocean Drive. It's beautiful!! Others About 10-15 minutes north of Miami in Ft. Lauderdale Ruths Chris Steak House - Ft. Lauderdale Serious steak and fine wines. Easy online reservations. 2525 N. Best wishes Romantic settings on the water: Chart House, Coconut Grove; Rusty Pelican on Rickenbacker Causeway (on way to key Biscayne). Coral Gables: Biltmore Hotel's Palme D'Or & La Palma Hotel (absolutely gorgeous garden setting - rated "most romantic in Miami" by Zagat). The latter three all have outside dining. Book ahead for weekends. None are cheap but they won't break the bank. South Beach restaurants tend to be noisy (a characteristic of So. Fla. restaurants -- but not the ones above listed) and over-priced. In North Miami Beach there is restaurant called the Melting Pot. It is a romantic place to go. It is a fondue restaurant. I recommend the filet mignon. The Dessert is the best! The price can come out to around $80 for two. prices should be on the website. www.themeltingpot.com |
