Do you need a passport when travelling from California to Miami? |
Travel Info Do you need a passport when travelling from California to Miami? Travel Tips sorry dude, but are you for real ? no you dont , not even to fly to Puerto Rico. In any case, California is still a state of the Union last time I checked and also was Florida( you know, the state where Miami is) :-) Others Do you want a serious answer to this question? Sigh. No you don't but you do need some form of valid photo identification. Unless you are leaving the US, you do not need a passport. I've heard of flights with lay overs in other countries, so depending on if your lay over is in, say Mexico, you may need a passaport, or a copy of your birth certificate. Once you are in the United States, within the 48 states, you do not need a passport as there are no borders. To go to Alaska or Hawaii where you may be crossing borders, then you may need one. You do not need a passport to enter any of the 50 states, US VIRGIN ISLANDS or Puerto Rico. I am a Travel Agent you don't need passport, unless that is your only form of ID. usually a drivers license will do! |
