Travel Info so this is my first time going to miami.. and i'm a little afraid.. i have no idea what they have to offer.. i am staying on ocean dr.. i'm not sure if we are getting a car yet.. i definitely don't mind walking.. anyways.. so i love to eat.. any good resturant that is affordable? and what's that one thing i must to do while in miami? how's the shopping? clubs? activities? what do you recommend? It's off the chain eat at (11th and Collins) Jerry's everybody does you can definetly run into rappers and athletes their regularly and eat good for about $15 Turkey Burgers and spaghetti and meatballs are my fav. shopping is expensive so get what you need before you go. Girls are definetly making propositions so don't feel offended If someone tries to soliciate you.The clubs are high to get in but the streets stay crowded like clubs but try Massion, Crobar on Washington or Wet Willy's and other bars on Ocean. Collins is the main strip Ocean is the beach with Cafe's and Washington is were the clubs are they all run parallel and back to back. If you do get a car go to Trasure Island were Bennihana's and other good restraunts are located with excellent ocean view. But your right in the mix so If you don't have a car your good, matter fact it could be a hastle we paid $30 a day to park and traffic is crazy Others Hello, Ocean dr.where ?? it's a really long way.. If you go north miami ,I like Aventura Area,near the ocean.Many malls,restaurants and more. Of yo dont' have a car there is the shuttle bus the shopping centers. where you'll stay ? hotel or apartmens? Have a nice trip... www.myflorida.com You won't have to walk.Ocean Drive is "the place" You want to be.. I don't know what else to say. " that's it. " right there. the party is on. in Ocean Drive. year round, non stop, If you are staying on Ocean Drive for 5 days you really don't need a car. Most of what you want to do is within walking distance & there is public transport for the one or two trips out of SoBe you may want to take. The only real recommendation is to remember to take & use your sunscreen. If you are not used to Fla. summer sun, you can burn to crisp before you realize it. |
