Going to miami with the family kid and dog? |
Travel Info well its about to happen is thier any place in miami that is a must visit Travel Tips Glad to see the kid belongs to the whole family. Did you get him from the pound? Anyway, the must see is Ocean drive on South beach. Parking is a big problem - you may have to park far away. You can't leave the dog in the car -- way too hot. You can take it to Ocean Drive on a leash. If it's unused to crowds, you can have a problem. I've traveled with dogs. Take bottled water & a collapsible dish. Dogs need lots of water in So. Fla. heat. There are water fountains on the beach -- but dogs are not allowed on the beach -- or in any restaurants or stores. You can use the fountains to re-fill the water bottles. Also take plastic bags. There are cops all over & if doggie does his thing you gotta clean it up. Others Miami Beach..it is so cool..but i don't know if they allow a dog? but don't keep him in the car as it will be too hot for the poor dog..the heat is intense in this part of Florida..he will have to have lots and lots of water and keep him out of a hot car...but miami beach is the main attraction in miami..along with the dog races..lol i'm suggesting Miami, not Miami Beach. the "South Miami" area is also , cool for family oriented environment. from there You reach any other area, in no time. (South Miami is exclusive ,but not expensive,and the best of all "not paparazzis"around , which is the Miami Beach spoiling matter.) You can't leave the dog in the car, It's way to hot. And if your dog has alot of hair, I'd say bring a lot of water for the poor animal Also, there's a beach for dogs, I've been there with my dogs before. Don't go there, it's absolutly disgusting and the worst beach I've ever been to. You have to go to Coral Gables, visit the Biltmore hotel and go to the grove. And if you want to do some upscale shopping, go to Village Of Merrik Park, it's beautiful but ridiculously expensive. |
