Travel Info Parking lots that you can park in downtown miami and southbeach that arent expensive? Travel Tips Yeah those prices are REDICULUS. Last summer for memorial weekend the beach parking was soo full, there was no where else to park, so we had to pay $20 to park somewhere by da beach,,, and it was like $30 in a garage right nxt to it. If you park at a meter, PLEASE be sure to get back there before your time expires, they actually do be checking up on them thangs, and put your parking ticket thingy in the winshield where they can SEE it.. they didnt see my meter ticket and they gave me a damn parking ticket I was pissed and it was up there, and our time wasnt expired yet (even tho i got back late, he gave me the ticket BEFORE my time was up). I dont know any places where parking is cheap... (except on the corner or in fromt of somebody house) i think everything down there is expensive. Onld advice I say it get there early.. whether for the beach or to go clubbin cuz it is thick out there in the summer Others any parking meter there are a lot on Collins ave and Washington and downtown Miami there are a lot of parking lots that are 10 dollars at night and five dollars in the day time outtaluck Okay, but first you have to promise not to use it on the nights I'm gonna be there! :) For south beach, if you are heading south on Alton road (Lincoln road will be on your left), turn RIGHT onto Lincoln road (away from the mall), and make the next left at the light on West Avenue. 1/2 block or less on the left is a metered lot. It's circular, not a lot of spaces, but it's not super-well-known and it's cheaper than the parking garage at the movie theatre. And it's really close to everything. Locals told me. Try city garages...if u go close to Lincoln rd..there is a city garage and open parking lot located on north of it..... For south beach try to go earlier than others :) Troy http://miamiinfo.biz |
