There is also this BBQ joint called Porky's Bayside is located at Mile Marker 47.5, in Marathon, I have been a regular for years @ Porky's and love it, from the pulled bbq sandwich, chili & cheese, baked beans, fresh seafood, ribs & steaks and specially I've droven 2hrs. to them just cause I want a piece of their fried key lime pie. TO DIE FOR !!! Hi, I have no personal favs to refer you to but if you go to the end/tip of the island you can just park and walk around kinda like New Orleans during Mardi Gras sans Mardi Gra, enjoy. Hi, The first place I would stop for a very good fish dinner is a little Mom & Pop seafood restaurant on the right side of Highway 1 in Key Largo. I don't have the name with me but it is very good. Next is Key West. Key West celebrates the Sun Set Festival every day. You can't miss it. For good food any of the restaurants around the wharf area. You will find specials every night. |
