Im looking 4 aprtments in miami near coconut grove under $1200?Or probably any other good area.? |
Travel Info I will be going to University Park campus of FIU and my hubby will be working at jackson memorial. We need clean apartments in any area that is considered good or clean... max rent is $1200.. .jackson memorial hospital has advised my husband not 2rent near hospital as that area is not considered safe.. Travel Tips Good luck, I don't think you will find any...but check The Flyer, or Diario Las Americas, they have everything there, and it be easier for you to search... Good areas to live are by Dadeland, Hammocks, and Coral Gables... Others Check online at www.apartmentguide.com you will find phone numbers and can even do a virtual tour The Grove ain't that great either, commuting is difficult & there are few apartments available. I don't know who suggested that. Best bet: Dadeland area. Very safe. There are literally thousands of brand new middle to upscale apartments already completed and coming on line. Many are new condos whose buyers can't flip them & are looking to rent. Others are condo high-rises converted to rentals because their builders can't sell them. Upscale shopping (Macy's, Nordstrom, etc.,) & local shopping & resturants are within walking distance. Hubby can WALK to the Metro-Rail station & take the train ($1.25 or less for monthly pass) directly to the center of the Jackson campus. You can commute a relatively short distance to FIU AGAINST the traffic! Believe me this is the perfect solution for your situation. 2d best: Brickell area. Like Dadeland area but Closer in, older, more expensive. Same transport ease for Jackson but your commute to FIU will be a lot longer. Rentals will also likely be higher & older. |
