Hi,
Lets see, there is the Atlantic Ocean and that is fine. Next there is the Gulf Stream. This is a warm current than runs between Florida and the Bahama's. For my money I would try and spend time in one of two places. Along the Keys. I like Key Largo and Key West. However, you really can't go wrong along the Keys. Next get out in the Gulf Stream away from the mainland. I spend a week around Bimini on a dive boat and enjoyed every minute.

Miami has the Atlantic Ocean mostly, though the Caribbean Sea is not that far away. The water on the east coast runs in the 80s where on the west coast its usually 55 degrees all year round.
Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. It's much warmer than the waters around the UK.
No "seas" around miami. You pretty much have just the atlantic ocean Depending on what time of year, in the summer, the water is around 75-80 degrees
The Atlantic ocean is to the east of Miami beach and Biscayne Bay is to the west.
