I want to leave for Florida tomorrow morning: good or bad idea considering all the wildfire situation? |
Travel Info I'm in NJ right now, btw. Just trying to see if this is insane, or ppl who I talked to are overreacting... ;P Travel Tips It depends on where you're going in Florida and how you are going there. The smoke is bad in some areas. I live in Northwest Florida and we have a fire here that is mostly contained. I'm not seeing the effects of smoke, but they're recommending people with breathing problems to stay indoors. Others my idea of a vacation is not sitting on a hot highway covered with smoke and suv's. Then again, if you stay away from the area that is on fire, there shouldnt be any more than the usual problems Depends if your going to Miami where I am now I dont smll or see any smoke. but i think in the Orlando area its pretty bad. But Miamis okay. you'll be fine. the fires are contained and the smoke has lessened in sooo many areas. im in naples, florida. it was so bad the other day but it really cleared up. That depends on where you are heading. If in South Florida then you are good, including Orlando and Daytona Beach. I live here and the weather and sky is perfect right now. |
