I'm moving to port st. lucie? |
Travel Info can anyone tell me what it's like up there if things are more expensive, if schools are good there, if it's boring, please? Travel Tips Wow! I moved here from NY and am miserable ! It is mostly a retirement area. If ur in Miami, yes its cheaper but u wont have the life ur accustomed 2. If any1 else is from here, Id like some positive opinions myself. Others Florida is pretty boring anyway, but Port St. Lucie's pretty typical. Overcrowded, good water access, plenty of malls and crap, not much nightlife. Stay away from Avenue D Ft. Pierce lessin you want a cap in yo ***. You are moving from Miami. Anywhere you move to will be considered boring to you. And yes the cost of living is definitely lower than Miami. Better schools, better communities. Enjoy it! I saw on a news report that the area has one of the highest concentrations of white supremacists. I'm not saying that everyone there is like that so please people, don't get on my case. I've driven thru and it seems lovely, but just do some research to see if that's where you want to go. P.S.- Just researched it myself and saw the the KKK is headquartered in Port St. Lucie.... googled it... I went there 2 weekends go. There are no clubs.. everybody there goes to West Palm to go clubbin.. (and its 1 hr away) but that at Ft. Pierce is a nice city its pretty people drive kind of wild at night on weekends i didnt go to thebeach but it looks boring but its pretty down there. I just went out there to shop so I dont have alot to say about the city. I got stared alot it got anoying |
