Can you travel to Cuba from Key West?

I'm going to Miami in the summer and would really like to go to Cuba!!!

The US has a trade embargo on Cuba, and Americans generally aren't allowed to travel there. There are no commercial flights from the US to Cuba. If you want to go, you have to travel through another country first, such as Mexico or a non-US territory island in the Carribean. You could also run into problems if you try to bring items from Cuba back to the US. You would probably do best to enjoy the Cuban culture in Miami, and travel to another Carribean country, like Jamaica or the Dominican Republic.

If you really want to go to Cuba, go to Mexico or Canada first, then try to buy a ticket to Cuba. A friend of mine did that, said Cuba was a blast. Bring me back some cigars.
