I am going to Miami, what are the clubs like? |
Travel Info What are some good clubs in South Beach that are fun for a younger crowd, but not really pretentious? What is the dress code like at most clubs? We will be going during the week and it is not the busy season right now, so will that make a difference? My friends and I are all in our mid-20s. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Travel Tips I have only been to South beach once (last year in August). I was there for a few days. During the day I would recommend hanging out at the Clevelander. It's right on Ocean Drive and you can have a few drinks and do some people watching. At night we did it real big. Went to club Mansion, bought about 4 bottles of Grey Goose and had the time of our lives (stars are usually always there we had a table next to Ja Rule). I would recommend bottles service anywhere you go out there. Drinks are really expensive so if you have a nice group splitting a few bottles will save you alot of money. Well it did for us at least.. Everyone was dressed very casual your next to the beach and its very humid so everyone is half naked ;-).. hope this helps I will be out there this August again.. Good luck Others South Beach is a Tourist Trap, Be prepared to pay outrageous cover prices and 10 dollar drinks I think..... Mario D , put it all together. one comment.....there is not problem with codes in So. Be. There are clubs all up and down washington avenue that u can go to and there are lotsa young people out, CROWEDED and hard to find a parking place if u get there late.. and u can park on the corner.. i went to a latin club.. i dont even know the name of it but ut costed $20 to get in and i didn't like it at all... the music was like rock latino and i wanted to hear some salsa, merengue, reggaeton and bachata.. and it was so full inside they had to wait until people left to club to bring somebody in and we waited outside in line like for an hour... I hear about the Mansion alot u should go there.. i havent been but i want to go! And ress codes.. people REALLY dress up down there.. i went and it wasnt even a holiday it was like in feburary/march when I went ithe girls wear dresses, skirts and skanky stuff, some dress classy/clubby style.. u can dress up and not feel weird there |
