One of them, (954) 757-7778 is advertising $29.00 FLL to South Beach, per person; two person minimum, incl bags. A cab will cost at least double that (per cab). So if you can get a third or fourth to go along the cab will probably be cheaper. Tr-rail option requires: Shuttle bus to Tr-Rail; pick up train to Miami metro-rail stop. Take Metro-rail to downtown (Government Center) and either (a) Take "S" bus to SoBe somewhere near your hotel or (b) take cab to hotel in SoBe. Tril-rail bus combo could run less than $10.00 a person, but it will take hours & you gotta haul your own luggage in the heat/rain (In So. Fla Summer it's either hot or pouring rain). Cab will run about $15.00 from downtown. Others a whole lot -- thats like an hour drive on the interstate. you could take the tri-county rail down and save some money. |
