I'm a teen who will move to Miami soon...What should I know about life there? |
Travel Info any information about miami will be helpful...please be objective. Thank you! I will really like any examples of fun places, activities, etc.... Travel Tips In Miami it's true that there are many Spanish speaking people, but most of them are bilingual and still consider English a first language, so you won't need to worry about language at all =].. I myself am a teen who has lived in Miami her whole life, and I can safely say that there are tons of fun things to do here! Fun things that you can enjoy during the day in the summer time is going to the beach.. but any time of the year you can enjoy shopping or watching movies at the mall.. One of the most popular is Dolphin Mall where you can hang out with friends at the movies, or eating at a restaurant, OR going to Dave and Busters (a gaming place).. There are many stores to shop in, and the prices are not too bad =]... Bayside is another mall which is located Downtown, which is really nice, and even has a new outdoor theater! Other places you can have fun at are the Seaquarium, the Metro Dade Zoo, the Planetarium.. places like that.. At night in South Beach and Miami Beach there are many fun restaurants that you can eat in such as Taverna Opa or Monty's... That's all I can think of off the top of my head, lol.. School here isn't fun (but then again, when is school fun), but I'm sure you can find a place at any high school.. you are welcome to look me up when you move here =] Others Heat, hot girls, lots of crime though. Know how to speak spanish and if you don't believe me watch the Hogan family reality show. hottest babes in all the land but lots of gangs and gang violences I go to Miami every year! Well, They speak a lot of Spanish there. There are malls there....really good ones!Gotta go to the beaches!Awesome ones! Wow so if we got all our information from TV - we would describe Miami as a Spanish speaking country with lots of hot girls committing gang violence and you may even get mugged but a girl with implants while walking down the street. HAHA Yea I've lived here all my life and never seen anything like that! Its true Spanish is spoken but its still second to ENGLISH! There are a lot of things to do... Beaches, Malls, Sport Events, Clubs, all sorts of Seaquariums and museums, everglades and other tourist spots, boating.....school! Use digital city or yahoo local to look up the things you are into...I'm sure its here! It's horrible but not as bad as west palm beach |
