Vacation help....PLEASE!? |
Travel Info i wanted a nice island place that i could reach by car, and i live in miami, fl...i was thinking marco island...but im not sure, i need help...i want a place to have alot of activities...water sking, jet sking...etc...at the same time i would like for it to be semi romantic because my parents are coming along Travel Tips Try Sanibel Island or Captiva. Marco Island is a good choice as well. Last but not least, there is always Key West. There are romantic spots there as well. Others Of the coast of Punta Gorda is an island called Little Gaspirilla Island. It's an island that just has houses, and you can only get to it by boat. It's a beautiful, serene place. I highly recommend it! I've been there once, and my parents have been twice. It can be pricey, since you would have to rent a house, but it's worth it!!! It doesn't have a lot of the jet ski/water skiing activities, but I'm sure you could go to the mainland for the day to do something like. And of course, if you live in Miami, you are not far from Key West, FL! That place is the best for night life and serenity. You can take a day trip to Ft. Jefferson for snorkling and swimming. Key West has just about anything you could want for activities, for young and old. You can shop, drink, parasail, rent boats, dance, eat, and tour historical landmarks. Have a great vacation! Gaspirilla Island and /or Captiva. gasparilla is an Island Captiva is a key (the entrance is by Ft. Myers) both place are what You are looking for......(expensive ,but good.) either one will be good. If You want something less expensive and closer to Miami. the mile one hundred.(US one) Hotel,Ocean, white sand beaches, very relaxing place. well go to daytona beach. it is greathttp://www.daytonabeach.com/ also there Little Gaspirilla Island. that is a very fun place. with all this fun stuff to do and see Marco Island is a wonderful choice! It will only take about 75-90 minutes to get there, and it's a completely different vibe on the West Coast. Depending on where you decide to stay, many of the better hotels/resorts offer a variety of excursions where you can do all of those activities and more. I personally like the Marriott. Additionally, downtown Naples is only about 15-20 minutes away where you have access to a plethora of restaurants, shopping and bars. And the water is like bathwater and is almost crystal clear! All parties involved should be pleased! |
