Try to plan ahead to see where exactly you want to live because many places in Florida and I mean the west coast, can be very expensive... You'd be exchanging one thing for another... NJ has beautiful Autumn and even snow which is enjoyable as long as it is mild, and the proximity and pretty much "sense of belonging" to NYC which is by far the best cosmopolitan city in the U.S.... On the other hand, you would be getting in return the beautiful "Sunshine State" beaches, warm and sunny weather while it may be freezing up north, the hot "fiestas" in Miami and South Beach with all the color and flavor the Latino culture has more in South Florida than in New York area... You should also consider from June to November, it's the Hurricane season in all the Southeast... Hope this will help! Good Luck! Others First, do some research and then GO FOR IT! Moving out of NJ is always a good idea. Since that place is the armpit of America. you should try California Yes, I love FL. I moved here about 5 years ago from NC and its great! Just have a plan when you come down, Miami can get expensive. Me If you can stand heat, humidity and hurricanes in FL. Yea. Florida is better than any other state |
