Miami International Airport is the main airport for the greater Miami Area. This is the 3rd largest airport in the USA for international passengers and is a large hub for American Airlines. It is nicknamed Gateway to the Americas for it having the most flights from the US to the Carribean, Central and South America. Also many flights to Europe and even Asia. MIA is easy to fly into on domestic flights but it is very busy for International Flights.
Ft. lauderdale Hollywood International Airport is another airport of entry to Miami, it is about 22miles north of Miami and is primary domestic flights. Some airlines which dont fly to Miami fly to FLL like, Jet Blue, Spirit, Southwest, USA300. Most of the time flights are cheaper here but domestic flights get very busy here and there are alot of delays.
There is also Plam Beach International Airport which is 56 miles north of Miami

Opa Lacka, Tamiami, Ft. Lauderdale Executive, North Perry are only a few.
Miami international and just north is fort lauderdale airport. fort lauderdale is less hectic.
