Single woman going to miami alone for 3 days. where should i go?? |
Travel Info I was just in miami for 1 day and I stayed in south beach. I did not get to do much because I got their late, and I had a flight to the dominican in the early morning. I was suppossed to go on a cruise with my girl, but at the last minute she backed out. I like to party, but I am nervous to go to the club by myself in a strange city. I have eaten at joes stone crab and that was nice, but I need to know what else I can do, and kind of blend in with the crowd. Travel Tips Go to Cape Florida Lighthouse and check out the beautiful beach and park. Others I live here and hate it, but one thing that is really nice is Vizcaya. It's a beautiful old mansion and gardens right by the bay. There's some ruins out back in the bay...really creepy, but amazing nonetheless. You can do that alone, no problem. If you cross over the causeway and go to the dog beach there (it's ugly and full of trees and stones), you can rent a kayak (single or double - prepare for a workout if you're alone) or a windsurfing board and lesson and go out on the bay you just saw from Vizcaya's backyard. You can actually paddle up to the ruins. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. Going out alone here is a little risky. You might want to try to make friends with a few girls with similar interests online before getting here, and try to hang with them. I'd invite you but I'm old, boring, and married. :) Live here. i always go to miami by myself and i go dancing ...i take a cab to Mansion and that麓s it ...you can also try going to the beach and try to make new friends...i recommend to stay in a hotel on Ocean Drive or near so can walk around without problems...i made a lot of friends but you have to be more careful cause you are alone...try to be open and sociable cause everyone in miami want to have fun BUT at the same time try to stay only in South beach during the night and take cabs eventhough you have to walk 2 or 3 blocks cause at night is not that safe for a young woman..good luck |
