What Miami neighborhood Should I live in? |
Travel Info I'm a 18 year old male and I want to live in a neighborhood thats busy and has a great night life. Travel Tips South Beach is the place to be, but in the end, it depends on what you can afford. South Beach is really convenient because everything is in walking distance, but it's expensive and apartments are small. Not to mention the parking situation is a disaster. Downtown Miami isn't much better if you choose to live in a high rise, but of the entire downtown area, your best spot will be along Biscayne Blvd., north of 395 if you are looking for better prices. South Beach and Downtown Miami apartments cost alot of money. But it is a buyers market right now. So prices are cheaper than they were a year ago. There are alot of new developments all over Downtown Miami which has decent night life. The Miami Beach area has one of the best nigh life's in the world if not the best. There are small condos and huge apartment buildings just go search for something in your price range. If you want to bu a house you will need at least $300,000 unless you want to live in some really bad areas. Even areas that used to be ghettos 5 years ago the homes cost about 250-$300,000. Miami is an expensive place to live, but also a great place to live. Miami Resident. Depends on where you work. Miami traffic is horrendous. If you can work anywhere then SoBe is best if you are single. Living within a couple of blocks of the ocean is expensive but there are many more affordable places (esp. if you have a roommate) further west. |
