How much is a cab ride from MIAMI airport to Miami Beach? |
Travel Info I've never been to Miami, and was wondering about how much the taxi fare owuld be from Miami Internat ional airport to Miami Beach. Thanx! Travel Tips Taxi fare is a $32.00 flat rate from the airport (plus tip) per cab. People who pay the meter rate are overpaying. Confirm the flat rate with the dispatcher (who should be at curbside) or driver. (They've asked the county for an increase due to fuel costs so it may adjust a buck or two) Supershuttle to anyplace on SoBe is now $19.00 (plus tip) per person. If you have more than one person traveling together the cab is a better deal. Others Like 15 min , 20 if traffic. I think it was like 35 bucks plus tip , but we had a van with 5 people. If you are by your self you can catch the Shuttle Bus for around $18.00 http://bbs.clubplanet.com/wmc-2007/14723... i agree with the person who said it s 35 bucks and if you take the shuttle traffic and share it with 5 or more you have to pay 25 bucks...or maybe you want to take the bus but i do not recommend it cause bus service in miami sucks... good luck $30-$40, But here is the key. If you arrive at anytime after 8pm or between 7-9am tell the taxi driver to take 112east to I-195 to get onto Miami Beach. This would be the way with the least amount of traffic. But between 9am-8pm traffic is the same on all the causeways to Miami Beach. Dont take a county bus the bus system in Miami is not the best. Have a great stay! Miami Resident. About $40 with a tip. Try to get on a flight that arrives prior to 2pm so you can avoid rush hour traffic along the Dolphin Expressway (836) and I95. That will help a lot! |
